Nicholas Mills Architect

Nicholas Mills Architect is a design focused architectural practice based in Edinburgh, Scotland. The practice aims to create architectural designs of the highest standard, whilst offering clients an uncompromising service that exceeds their expectations.

My work focuses on how people experience and interact with the environment around them. I believe that through the creation of carefully considered architecture this experience can be enhanced by creating places, which support and enrich peoples lives through the use of light, materials and space. Design should be functional, aesthetically pleasing, safe, practical, affordable and inclusive.

The practice's work includes residential projects of all types and scales, ranging from new build houses to the refurbishment and remodeling of existing houses through additions of basements, extensions and loft conversions.
